Me gusta mucho Goodbye Horses de la Q Lazzarus, además tiene una historia entre mito y realidad muy entretenida... se cuenta que por esos años, luego de haber grabado Goodbye Horses hace algún tiempo sin éxito, mientras manejaba como taxista por las calles de Manhattan, solía poner el cassette por si se subía algún alto ejecutivo del mundillo de los medios. Un día se sube Jonathan Demme, el gran director de cine y asombrado con la canción le pregunta de quién es, ella responde que suya y él promete incluirla en alguna película, así es como luego de incluirla en una película de poco reconocimiento público se consagra este temazo en la clásica escena en el Silencio de los inocentes donde el trastornado Ted Levine baila al son de Goodbye Horses. Espero la disfruten!

La definición segúnn WP:   One-hit wonder, (literalmente en español Maravilla de un éxito, algo así como flor de un día), es un término anglosajón utilizado a propósito de un artista, grupo, etc. cuya popularidad o éxito se debe únicamente a un solo hit o éxito. Puesto que las flores de un día son populares durante un periodo corto, su éxito suele tener gran valor nostálgico, y suelen aparecer en recopilaciones o efemérides de la época en que se produjo.

Acá va el primer favorito, lo tengo en vinilo tb:

 

 

Ojo que F. R. David también tenía Sahara Nights....
