Alberto 244 Publicado October 11, 2017 at 15:26 Share Publicado October 11, 2017 at 15:26 (editado) mencionan a Braun dentro de las antiguas a evitar. As an industrial designer he developed ten principles of good design: Good Design Is Innovative, Good Design Makes a Product Useful, Good Design Is Aesthetic, Good Design Makes a Product Understandable, Good Design Is Unobtrusive, Good Design Is Honest, Good Design Is Long Lasting, Good Design Is Thorough Down to the Last Detail, Good Design Is Environmentally Friendly, and Good Design Is as Little Design as Possible. These design principles carried throughout his iconic product designs. One of these products was the PS2 Turntable created for Braun. This turntable featured a minimalist design focusing on the idea that good design emphasizes a products usefulness, removing anything that would distract from that. He believed that these products are tools, and therefore should be neutral and restrained. However, there is an elegance to the execution of this minimalism. The normal rigid corners of previous box-like designs were replaced with smooth, curved forms. This more fluid form added a friendliness to this product. As stated that good design is aesthetically pleasing, its the thoughtful design of this objects form that makes it beautiful. By keeping simple and true to form this product avoids being seen as quickly outdated, and therefore achieves a lasting presence. Dieter Rams simply put it as, Less, but better because it concentrates on the essential aspects and the products are not burdened with non-essentials. Back to purity, back to simplicity.
